Quanto sei spaventato dall'Intelligenza Artificiale applicata alle traduzioni? Quanto invece ti stimola? Abbiamo posto queste due domande agli studenti del primo anno di Magistrale in traduzione specialistica e interpretazione della storica Università di Trieste. Eh sì, come ogni anno torniamo tra i banchi a parlare di traduzione tecnica, di qualità e di tecnologie. Quest'anno abbiamo approfondito la delicata questione dell'Intelligenza Artificiale e di come farà evolvere la professione del linguista. C'è paura ma anche tanta curiosità. Una cosa è certa: l'IA si evolve sempre più in fretta ma il tempo per apprenderla e saperla sfruttare professionalmente c'è. Basta non restare passivi ma formarsi e informarsi costantemente. Son state senza dubbio due giornate intense: rivedremo i ragazzi nel 2024 pronti a discutere di nuove sfide con i traduttori di domani! #UniTS #IA #traduzione #formazione #seminari #trieste ------------------------------------------------------------------ How scared are you of Artificial Intelligence applied to translations? How much does it stimulate you instead? We posed these two questions to first-year students of the Master's program in specialized translation and interpretation at the University of Trieste. And yes, as every year we return to the desks to talk about technical translation, quality and technology. This year we delved into the sensitive issue of Artificial Intelligence and how it will evolve the profession of the linguist. There is fear but also a lot of curiosity. One thing is certain: AI is evolving faster and faster but the time to learn it and know how to exploit it professionally is there. Just don't remain passive but train and inform yourself constantly. ENG: On Monday and Tuesday, May 22 and 23, the first project meeting between ECECE and AlgoritmoAssociates was held! With a packed agenda, we took up the themes and goals of the project. In particular, we: _presented the organisations we will be working with _discussed in depth the working materials (questionnaires, feedback forms and final deliverables) _confirmed the use of the planned work tools _confirmed and deepened the dissemination and monitoring/evaluation actions In the next few days we will start with the field work from the pilot organisations. A further element we have deepened is the possibility of extending our dissemination action to sector magazines and web portals. Also in the next few days, we will define the parameters for the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the data collected. Thank you to everyone who took part in the meeting! ------------------------- ITA: Lunedì e martedì 22 e 23 maggio si è tenuto il primo meeting di progetto tra ECECE e AlgoritmoAssociates! Con un ordine del giorno molto fitto, abbiamo ripreso i temi e gli obiettivi del progetto. In particolare abbiamo: _presentato le organizzazioni con cui lavoreremo _discusso a fondo dei materiali di lavoro (questionari, moduli di feedback e deliverable finale) _confermato l’utilizzo dei work tool previsti _confermato e approfondite le azioni di disseminazione e di monitoraggio/valutazione Nei prossimi giorni partiremo con il lavoro sul campo a partire dalle organizzazioni pilota. Un ulteriore elemento che abbiamo approfondito è la possibilità di estendere a riviste e portali web di settore la nostra azione di disseminazione. Sempre nei prossimi giorni definiremo i parametri di valutazione quantitativa e qualitativa dei dati raccolti. Mai, fand das erste Projekttreffen zwischen ECECE und AlgoritmoAssociates statt! Mit einer sehr vollen Tagesordnung haben wir die Themen und Ziele des Projekts aufgegriffen. Insbesondere haben wir: _die Organisationen vorgestellt, mit denen wir zusammenarbeiten werden _die Arbeitsmaterialien (Fragebögen, Feedback-Formulare und endgültige Ergebnisse) eingehend diskutiert _den Einsatz der geplanten Arbeitstools bestätigt _die Verbreitungs- und Überwachungs-/Evaluierungsmaßnahmen bestätigt und vertieft In den nächsten Tagen werden wir die Feldarbeit mit den Pilotorganisationen starten. Ein weiteres Element, das wir vertieft haben, ist die Möglichkeit, unsere Verbreitungsmaßnahmen auf Branchenzeitschriften und Webportale auszuweiten. Ebenfalls in den nächsten Tagen werden wir die Parameter für die quantitative und qualitative Auswertung der gesammelten Daten festlegen. Vielen Dank an alle, die an dem Meeting teilgenommen haben!
